A long time back in ancient Eire lived an Irish Captain named Lir. When King Bodhbh heard of Lir’s loss he offered another one of his children to Lir in wedding. Lir select Aoife as his new better half and stepmother to his youngsters. She even pretended to be sick for an entire year to look for special attention.
