Neither my husband nor I drink alcohol anymore. What else can one do on holiday while visiting Dublin? We also have two little one that will need to be entertained.

Dublin is about hanging out and going with the flow. Talk to lots of interesting people (or wierdos, depending on which side of the Liffey you’re on). I am biased, but the best thing to do in Dublin is come to Galway for some proper fun, sights and culture. I quit years ago and have a ball here all the time. Except for standing outside to smoke. In the rain. And wind.

Take one of those bus rides, the ones with the commentary on all the sites, that way you’ll be shown and told about everything then you can decide what you want to see!

Go on the tour bus round Dublin, you can hop on and off at any stop en route and visit all the major tourist attractions by doing that, we go to Dublin a lot and I don’t drink either, we always find plenty to do and the Dublin people are wonderful and helpful too.

You should ask a tour guide to bring you to Mr Darcy,s Mansion on the Foothills of the Dublin mountains. His wife, Ms Alice, gives a demonstration on how to apply Mr Darcys fresh cream to her hot muffin and buns.

    Hope you enjoy it.

    Hello,
You are obviously on line so go to Bord Failte’.com, and check out all they have to offer to the travellers and their lovely young children, and remember there are always the roofless buses in Dublin
There are plenty of places that children can ride a pony, and all the sights of all the city, I hope you find more than you can enjoy, but that you do get to enjoy everything on offer, Good Luck now……… Tony M
