Dublin is pretty far away from Tip. Shannon isnt too far but you might have to catch a train or pay for a taxi unless you got your own car then its not too bad. Cork you can get a train straight there which is an hour or two if I rememberr correctly. I went from Cork when I was younger like 13 it wasnt great but its just like any other train ride really. Hope it helps!
I suggest Dublin, tthat way you’re at the centre of the transport hub. You can catch a train from Heuston station to Tipp. It also gives you the advantage of spending time in Dublin to see the sights there.
Cork airport! Shannon is close as well but it depends where your living and if there is a plane going to the airport! Cork would probably be the easiest! But I will warn you that I went on holidays to tipp town for one day and night and it was way to long as there is nothing to do there and there isn’t a decant shop in sight!
