Well it is about 40 minutes away from Dublin City Centre, but you should definately visit Brú Na Boinne in Co. Meath. It has this huge neolithic pagan passage grave called Newgrange, it was built about 1000 years before the pyramids and was built so accurately that only on the shortest day of the year, the sun shines the whole way down the 25mtr passage and into the burial chamber, you really should try to visit it.

Since you will be in Dublin, you should go into see the Book of Kells in Trinity College. It is right in the city centre. The book of kells is considered Irelands most important national treasure, it is a medieval bible beautifully decorated. My advice is research both of these before you go so you have everything ready and dont miss either of them

You're visiting all that in 10 days!!? You won't have time to take in anything else, dear!

You do realise that while distances are not that great in Ireland, we do not have the roads to take large volumes of high-speed traffic, and Galway is at least 3 hours from Dublin by car?
