Dublin – The World’s Greatest City !!
mellogrl1 asked:

I would like to go to either Dublin, Kerry, or Galway . . . so if anyone knows of any nice hostels in those three areas, that would be great! Also, if anyone has any advice on which place I should visit; Dublin, Kerry, or Galway.
Thanks so much!! :-)

I think the best place to look is on the Twin Oaks travel site. It offers great deals and affordable prices. I posted the link

Kerry and Galway are both on the west coast, so you could probably visit both. Given a choice of one or the other, I’d go for Galway. Always interesting, lots of history, compact enough to be able to walk around easily, and the craic is mighty. And it is easy to get to other areas too, if you want to explore further.

    For hostels
All come well recommended, but read the reviews to help you decide.

Irish hostels are not unline British hostels, meaning that the rooms are small, stuffed, in old poorly ventilated buildings with dirty or malfunctioning toilet/shower facilities. This is particularly the case with Dublin hostels. There are nicer hostels, especially if you stick with HI hostels. There’s an excellent one in Donegal right next to beautiful and big Mt Errigal, it’s new, spacious, though it’s worth it only if you’re into hiking. Barnacles in Galway isn’t too bad (not in Dublin, it’s a sty). Never been to Kerry, couldn’t tell you.
