Looks like you are back to square one and have to get used to drinking all over again. No other solution, have a nice time in Dublin.

Put in maximum effort at the pub for the next few days...your tolerance will be back in no time....also try eating something greasy and heavy like peanut butter and bread before you start boozing...a few litres of water before will also help...

I suppose if you take it easy for these 8 days, and try and slowly drift back into having, let's say one a day, you should be fine... I think. Make sure to take lots of water with your beer - this should also help. I doubt if you'll be a Lennox Lewis or a Mike Tyson in 8 days' time, but good luck enjoy Dublin!

i would just have a few drinks every night until then. start off getting yourself tipsy then work up each night. ull probably find that you will build your tolerance up quite quickly especially if u drink each night.

I had the same problem when I came off my antibiotics, I only had 5 days before I went out with all my mates to celebrate my degree results!

What I did (and it seemed to work) was try not to mix my drinks too much, usually I drink anything and everything and that night I stuck to having at least 2 or 3 of the same thing. I'm a bit of a shot girl and do like my sambucca so had a few but stuck to the same type of drink rather than mixing.

Apart from that (I know the lads wouldn't approve) if you can sneak off and get a glass of water from time to time then you should feel less rough in the morning, also drink plenty before you go to bed that evening!

The other thing I would reccommend, is eat something filling but relatively plain before you go out such as pizza or something greasy that will line your stomach (I know you've just done a detox but it does help honest) something that isn't too spicy and won't repeat on you later.

Up until then, there isn't too much you can do unless you want to get some practice in and drink every night lol!

Have a great trip and I hope this helps.

Start slowly, not to overload your system, Vodka with diet coke is low in calories and buy your next detox course when you come back from your holiday (you might need it)
