Try contacting the post office, see if they can contact him from their records. They will be able to give him your contact information, and hopefully he will get in touch with you. Hope it works out.

I totally feel your pain – i still get misty eyed when i think about the policeman who helped me when i was lost – i was 6 years old and my mother has on the other side of the shop – i felt like my world had stopped…but he stepped over and guided me back into her loving arms…….It was a life changing moment…..I have always felt very emotional when i see a very tall well built policeman ….. I still go back to the same shop each year on the anniversary – it sounds silly but it does make me feel somewhat closer to him – does that make me wierd?….. goodluck in your search.

what street were you in in dublin and what did he do that helped you?? if you need to find this out contact: one of the biggest radio stations in dublin ireland! if he cant help you no one can he does this sort of thing all the time”’ or visit you may give him even a street name or where you were you were near when you met him”
