What are the most impressive mountains in Ontario? I’ve heard Killarney has nice places. How bout Maple Mountain and the area? Any nice mountains with open views similar to BC?

    Nothing anywhere near the rockies and coastal ranges in B.C. and alberta

    Sorry, but the mountains in Ontario are really, really old – and all worn down. No, I’m not being sarcastic – the Canadian Shield was Canada’s first mountain range.

    We don’t have snow-capped mountains here, but Ontario does offer some of the most breathtaking scenery on the planet. Killarney Provincial Park on Georgian Bay is beautiful, as are most of our parks, and each has its own charm depending on the local geography.
