Me and my friend are going to a concert in the O2 in a few weeks! We are getting the train to Dublin but we aren’t sure how to get to the O2 from there safely! We’ve both only been in Dublin once so we don’t really know our way around! We’d prefer to getsome form of transport than walking there! The concert is on a Wednesday, Midday so we’d like to get there at about 11am! We arrive in Dublin at about 10am!

The LUAS is far and away the best way of getting to the O2 arena, it stops outside it now.

The LUAS light rail system runs about every 6 minutes between Heuston station and O2 (listed on the Luas website as The Point, which is the former name of O2). A one-way adult ticket for each of you will cost €1.80. As your concert is so early, you may be returning to Heuston to get the train home again. In that case, you could get a return ticket, cost €3.30.
