Hi, there is so much to see and do in Dublin, go on a tour bus they are hop on hop off buses all day, they take you to all the main tourist attractions Guinness Factory is well worth a visit, Phoenix Park, has Dublin Zoo inside it. Henry St. is fantastic for shopping(it’s just off O’Connell St at the side of the Post Office) speaking of which is worth a visit it takes you back in time. There are lot’s of restaurants and cafe’s, I love Dublin.

dundrum shopping centre in south dublin is good for a days shopping, theres also restaurants and a cinema there…you can take the green line luas from the city.
The guiness brewery is good like the prev person said…they have a bar at the top of it with glass windows all round so you get a good view of the city…and a free pint of guiness.
Theres lot of coastline towns near dublin, such as howth (might get lucky and see some seals in howth, theres also a lighthouse) and malahide (also a castle in malahide)…which are nice even if the weather isnt. You can get the DART out to them.
Kilmainham jail for a bit of history.
Christchurch cathedral is nice….if you go there get some fish and chips from Leo Burdochs..its a famous fish and chip place in dublin.
As for restaurants…the winding stair is a good irish restaurant…its in the city centre on the quays.
Lots of restaurants in the temple bar area, as well as pubs..but its very touristy so expect it to be more expensive…and in dublin, thats really something
St Stephens green is a nice park it the top of grafton street in the city centre…got a pond with ducks. Also in the summer it often has free concerts.
And ‘Lemon’ cafe on dawson street near to stephens green does good crepes for a quick snack
Trinity college again in the city centre, has the book of kells..gotta pay to see it tho

I would definitely take a trip on one of the double decker tour buses. They take you past many of the top tourist attractions and the best is you can get off at any of them,visit the sight and get back on the next available one without an extra charge or do the whole circuit then stay on and go back to the places you want to visit. The Guinness Storehouse is awesome. Dublin is a very walkable city with tons to do. Enjoy. Can’t wait to get back myself.

All of the above are good suggestions, I’d also take a day trip out to Newgrange in County Meath.
You could also hop on the DART and admire the coastline, and get out at Dun Laoghaire for a walk down the pier, very bracing, really helps you work up an appetite.

all that you have listed is there in Dublin but the problem you will have is that due to your daughter age she would be left into bars here in Ireland after 10pm
