I’m sorry to say that I agree with everything you said. In addition, traffic has become a nightmare. It can literally take me two hours to get in to the city centre in the mornings from Clondalkin. And then two hours minimum to get home at night. House prices have gone through the roof so first-time buyers can’t find housing. Dubs are selling up, making a fortune, and then buying cheaper houses outside Dublin in places like Meath, Louth, Cavan, Kildare and Wicklow. Renting is also ridiculously expensive in Dublin. In addition, Dublin is so crowded these days that I find it claustrophobic and therefore avoid it like the plague. Dublin City Centre can be a scary place now at night, definitely not safe. There is also a large problem with people (mainly immigrants) drinking on the streets in broad daylight. There is little that is good to be said for Dublin these days
