am thinking of going with my caravan 2 5yr olds and 2 little dogs – we can visit relations in dublin but do y ou know anything good for adults to do around clondalkin. have you stayed at camac? what was it like?

    it’s near a park, but not exactly in Clondalkin village. It’s also near a hotel, and the 69 bus stop. But there is not a lot to do in Clondalkin, you can look at the round tower, but you can’t get in to it.

    I suppose it is a good base to travel from, near enough to Dublin, and yet it’s on the N7, so travel to Kildare, and the west is handy.

    Better add, Clondalkin has a bit of a bad reputation, but it is real Dublin, warts and all.

    there is a play ground for the kids and a large park beside it where you can walk your dogs. theres not much around for adults but you can get a bus into Dublin.
