Angelz asked:
What is the most interesting place to visit in Dublin’s area ?
I live in France (but I’m originaly German) and I would also be interested to find a chatroom to talk with Irish people…
Sorry for my mistakes
@ thebeermatman : I took a look at some pics about them…
Thanks for this interesting itinerary…
Wha
What about the country there ? Is the Giant’s Causeway far from Dublin ?
I’m so glad to see all the pretty places you all adviced that I can’t decide what to choose !
I really love all what I see on the photos !
I think the Irish people are lucky to live there…
Could someone tell me how is Ballymena ? How is the weather in North ?
Thanks for all your advices !

Hi Anghelze, i’m from Dublin. My advice would be to visit places of interest like The Garden of Rememberance Parnell Square, the National Museum and the Dail (government buildings) in Kildare St., walk up the street and have a stroll around St Stephens Green then take time for a Guinness in O’Donohues in Merrion Row. After your Guinness head to the National Art Gallery in Merrion Square. enough for the day. Next day head for the Guinness Brewery Tour, then on to the Phoenix Park, see the Presidents residence. Day three take a stroll down to Moore Street and meet the real Dubliners all the market sellers the auld biddies roaring get your apples pears and oranges 5 for a Euro its great fun. That evening a trip down to Temple Bar the in place where you will meet a lot of interesting people, full of fine bars and restaurants. I hope I have been of help, Slainte \_/ ,,,,,

These are some of the top things to see in Dublin:
Guinness Storehouse
Kilmainham Gaol
Dublin Zoo
Garden of Remembrance
National Museum
Dublina
Book of Kells @ Trinity College
I would also recommend doing one of the bus tours.
Giants causeway is quite far from Dublin, about 140 miles. The best way to get there from Dublin is via the Enterprise (train) from Dublin to Belfast. From Belfast you can then get a bus from the Europa bus centre to the Giants Causeway.
It is definitely worth seeing if you have time to go up there!
Links below for the attractions I mentioned:

The Giant’s Causeway is in Northern Ireland, you would need to travel to Belfast first, and then take a bus to the Giant’s Causeway.
The real Ireland is outside of Dublin. No offence intended to Dubliners, but the city has changed beyond recognition, and feels more English than anyplace else on the island, not surprising given its history. Make sure to visit Galway, Clare, Limerick, Kerry and Cork.
