I am 18 and moved to california when i was 10 from Clonsilla, Dublin, Ireland. I am thinking of moving back to go to college but I have heard that things are vey different now than they were in 1998. Is this true? I know there has been an influx of immigrants so have the demographics changed significantly in certain areas? I have it is are mad expensive, petty crime has gone up, the city has become dirtier, there are ten times the amount of skangers ( :and the city center is no longer as safe. I’d appreciate any info. Thanks and happy paddy’s day!

I’m going to Ireland on Friday for a study abroad trip for 10 days. We’re going to be staying in Galway, Dublin, Ennis, Kilarney, and Cork. We’re visiting the Dublin Zoo, Shelbourne Greyhound Park, University of Dublin, Grance Research Facility, Dartfield Horse Museum, Cliffs of Moher, Bunratty Castle Folk Park, FOTA Wildlife Park, and Blarney Castle Gardens.

Does anyone have suggestions on where else I should visit around Galway, Dublin, Ennis, Kilarney, or Cork because we have free time in the evenings and I have a free day in Dublin.

Thanks!

Is the bus connection good? Would it be practical to live in Dublin and work in Swords when I don’t have a car?
Thank you!

Hi! I’m thinking of hosting a party in Dublin and would like to have it at an unusual venue like a boat or something. I don’t want the usual ‘rent a restaurant or hotel’ party so any suggestions on something different would be great! Thanks.

In 1997 some train services from Cork would stop in Mallow, Charleville and Templemore and arrive in Dublin in a total time of 2h20 minutes. The same journey now takes 2h50 minutes? Why is this?
